     Saving the Login Password

Do I have to enter my password every time I want to connect to the Internet?

Windows should allow you to click the save password checkbox when you connect from the Dialup Connections window. If the checkbox is “greyed out,” then you should make sure that Client For Microsoft Network is installed on your computer and that you are successfully “logged in” to windows. The following instructions show examples from Microsoft Windows 98. If you have a different version of Windows you may have to look in different locations for some items.  However, what you find will be very similar to what you see here.
